The Ceremony

Choosing a Celebrant

If you are looking for a funeral celebrant, I would be pleased to assist you to create a ceremony to remember and celebrate your loved one. It is likely that someone from
a funeral director’s firm will be the first person you will meet after the death.
They may suggest a celebrant for you to speak with. However if you have
decided that you would like me to act as your celebrant, just tell the
funeral director who will leave you to make your arrangements with me.

Eulogy Preparation

Sometimes I am engaged to prepare a ceremony and eulogy before the
anticipated death of a loved one – especially if the person has a terminal
illness. This ensures that the funeral is thought through and prepared before
it is necessary to deal with the emotional strains following the passing of the
loved one. In some situations it is possible to involve the terminally ill person in
the preparation in a way which is helpful for all concerned. I am very happy to work with you in whatever way you wish to proceed.
